Cats look so content when sleeping.

There’s just something about a sleeping kitty. When you look at that napping feline, it reminds you that there’s peace in this world & to not take yourself so seriously. Slow down. Find that calm that soothes your mind.

For me, looking at my cat in this way de-stresses me. I’m able to breathe, letting go of anxiety, matching the rhythm of the furry belly that goes up and down or that gentle purr.

There’s evidence to show that owning a cat can extend your life. I believe it.
