The Fog at the Farm

The old blacksmithy, shrouded by fog & wild growth.

This morning presented another spectacular fog at the farm. Seeing the eerieness that had settled in, I felt the mood like that of a Tim Burton landscape (an aesthetic I love), so I had to capture the beauty!

During these moments, I feel genuinely blessed to witness this display of Nature’s adornments. People are often very kind in complimenting pictures, & I feel humbled, and not in that puffed-up way. Never did I think I’d be in my dream home with such grounds. It’s been a labor of love, but so well worth it.

The collection of pictures featured here should give readers a sense of walking the grounds at the farm. As seen, when the fog descends it creates an ethereal beauty all its own. A good friend loves fog, & so this is in part tribute so that the fog in field & not only over water can be enjoyed.

Rather than write about anything too deep, this reverie shares the views captured during a spectral show of what appears almost otherworldly. I half-expected to see fairies flitting about, enjoying the gloaming.

Hopefully, you feel magic as I do, that perhaps my images can do the landscape some justice. We can only capture a small part, of course. The experience itself is quite a magnificent & awe-inspiring thing. And nothing I could write or post could ever truly convey its majesty.
